An shortcut hotel is also called a limited service hotel. In Europe, an shortcuthotel has been a very ripe pattern of hotel management, which means a limited serviceway of providing the guests accommodation and breakfast as the main body services.This kind of hotel management service is more suitable to the traveling consumptionof the masses. The development of shortcut hotel in China is relatively late, whichbegan in1996. Beginning with the stage of large-scale leisure traveling consumptionin the whole nation, the Chinese shortcut hotels have developed like mushrooms.Established in2002, and with the development and expanding of eleven years,Home Inn Hotel Group owned2013chain hotels at the beginning of2013and hasbecome the leading enterprise of shortcut hotels in China. In2006, Home Inn HotelGroup was listed on NASDAQ in America, which made it the first listed Chinesehotel overseas. Home Inn regards it as its enterprise wish “to be the outstanding leaderin the field of the masses’ accommodation”. It has led the Chinese Hotels to steadilygo forward in the keen market competition on the basis of “family” culture. In2005,Home Inn Hotel bravely tried the new type marketing means with its keeninsight—network marketing pattern. It formally opened the network booking system,which laid a good foundation for the rapid expansion at home market, and providedthe brand-new service platform for better occupying the market at home.This paper describes the present situation of network marketing about Home InnHotel Group from various aspects. Compared with the network marketing situation ofother shortcut hotels at home such as Seven-day Chain Hotel, Hanting Inn ChainHotel, and Shu8Chain Hotel, therefore, it tries to find the shortcomings of networkmarketing about Home Inn Hotel Group, and proposes the improved scheme aimed atthe network marketing system of Home Inn Hotel Group. By studying the subject, thispaper provides some theory reference basis for Home Inn Hotel Group on how toimprove network marketing system and how to continually innovate networkmarketing means, which indicates the direction of occupying leading position in keenmarket competition for Home Inn Hotel Group.
