Training Programs Research On Project Manager Risk Management Of M Construction Company

Abstract:Project managers play an important role on project planning, construction and implementation and the command, coordination and decision-making of the project management process. Project managers take the highest responsibility and organize the implementation and management of the project, and they are the information distribution centers of the project. They also coordinate all parties and become the bridges and links to make all parties collaborate with each other closely. On the one hand, project risks increasing with the changing internal and external environment, it is likely to cause loss of control of the project, which will lead to the reduction of benefit of the construction and even project failure. Project manager is the first person to take the project risk and plays an important role on the development of construction enterprises. However, the current project manager’s risk management capability is generally low and needed to be improved. On the other hand, the relevant trainings of the project managers have a series of problems like blindness, lack for pertinence and difficulty to measure training effectiveness. It is difficult to achieve the purposes like improving risk management ability and training excellent project managers. How to solve the contradiction between the two and develop the project managers that have a good risk management capability and are required by the construction enterprises is becoming the important issue to be studied by the theorists and construction companies.This article is based on that background. It studies the risk management capability training for project managers and designs the programs, and takes construction company M for example, and analyses the current situation of the risk management capability training for project managers of construction company M. By having a good knowledge of the company’s training problems and their causes, this article analyze the need of the risk management capability training for project managers for construction company M. Combined with project managers theory, risk management theory and training theory, this article identify the training content, training methods and the specific implementation of risk management. This article also describes the implementation of the training program related to safeguard measures and discusses mainly on system security, organizational security, cultural security and resources guarantee. It gives some suggestions and makes a scientific system of the risk management training for project managers.Through the effective training of project managers, it can improve risk identification, analysis, evaluation, control, aversion and risk awareness of project managers, and make them understand the specific risk management practices, solves the problems of construction company M in risk management,improves the M’s ability to withstand risks and maintains their stability and sustainable management, which has important practical significance.
