A Study On The Comprehensive Evaluation Of Insurance Information System In C Insurance Company

In recent years, with the development of information technology, data and informationhas played an increasingly important role in the insurance industry. Insurance informationsystems have been the core competitiveness of insurance companies. Compared with theinvestment in fixed assets such as production tools, the construction of insurance informationsystems is far more risky. Blind or excessive construction can not only cause irreparabledamages to a company, but influence the overall strategic planning of the company as well.The comprehensive evaluation of insurance information systems provides a scientific andreliable analysis method for insurance companies, enabling them to efficiently control risksand track down bugs during the construction of insurance information systems.This thesis expounds the development history of insurance information system, and theimportance of insurance information systems to insurance companies is analyzed withsystematic analytic framework. Then analysis of insurance information systems is conductedwith respect to the comprehensive evaluation dimension. First, extract the comprehensiveevaluation indicators of the insurance information system; divide the evaluation indicators ofinsurance information systems from five dimensions, i.e., reliability, responsiveness,operability, satisfaction and comprehensive controllability. Secondly, mark the comprehensiveevaluation indicators of the insurance information system according to their comparativeimportance in and contribution to the comprehensive evaluation by collecting survey reportswhich have been publicized and by questionnaire surveying an expert evaluation group. Thencalculate the integrate weight and effectiveness of each comprehensive evaluation indicatorsusing Analytic Hierarchy Process. Calculate the evaluation value membership matrix of eachcomprehensive evaluation indicators using fuzzy comprehensive evaluation method, figureout the comprehensive evaluation level of the system according to the integrate weights andeffectiveness of comprehensive evaluation indicators and the evaluation value membershipmatrix. Finally examine the general level of the insurance information system and find outbugs to be eliminated or faults to be rectified according to the evaluation results.
