There are statistics indicate that, in2013, the scale of domestic managementsoftware market reached22billion Yuan RMB, and it will remain at the level ofannual growth of29.5%in next5years. By contrast, in the number of20,000domestic management software vendors, more than a half of them have total assets ofless than10million. Under the steady growth in the overall size of the market context,foreign giant vendors who controlled a large group of high-end clients, began toprovide a low-cost modular SAAS to occupy low-end market. The domestic vendorshas not yet formed a strong brand influence, due to increased market competition andrapid increasing in labor costs, the profits began to decline. In addition, with thedevelopment of basis IT, the value of service became a new growth point. Teambecome a broad applied form of organization in the software industry. The traditionalorganizational structure decomposed into function divisions has been unable to meetmanagement software enterprise’ need to "respond rapidly to customer’s demand ".In the above context, in this thesis, the relationship between the organizationdesigning and team effectiveness about SME of management software was studiedcombined the relevant theory, by Ground Theory. I hope to get valuable conclusions,and help SMEs to optimize the organization structure to improve team effectiveness.The main work are as follows:1) Described the basic theory about organizational structure, teams and teameffectiveness, to lay the foundation for the relationship research between organizationdesign and team effectiveness;2) Expounded the definition of management software, SMEs of that industry; thehistory and the trend of domestic management software industry were analysized;how to build the core competitiveness of the companies by organization structure byvalue chain model were analysized.3) Applied grounded theory, doing case study on2domestic companies namedCOSCO-Network and Tianjin century net. The primeval information was obtained byenterring the business to interview the main leaders. Through the cycles ofopen-coding, axial-coding and selective-coding process, the theoretical model wasfinally drawn of how organizational structure imply the team effectiveness. 4) Based on the research, how to enhance team effectiveness by flattening theorganization was proposed, as long with the implementation principles andrecommended steps.
