In world context of limited sources and weakened environment carrying capacity, theresearch on low-carbon economy are springing up all over the world, especially indefining the concept of low-carbon economy, low carbon economy evaluation methods,the development of low-carbon economy theory and policy recommendations, etc.However, research on the visualization platform of low-carbon economy evaluation isrelatively rare. This paper is based on an existing evaluation system of low carboneconomy from the project team. The basic framework of the visualization platform onlow-carbon economy evaluation is built. It aims to provide a reference for the realizationof the visual assessment of low-carbon economy, as well as other visual referenceplatform.This paper first describes the background and significance of the subject, and brieflydescribes the main contents of the article, the proposed research methods and innovations.Secondly, it integrates both the related research on visualization technology and itsapplications in various fields. Lastly, the framework is based on the three dimensionsfunction, structure and implementation path of the low carbon economy evaluation visualplatform. Low-carbon economy development of Hubei province is assessed with the helpof the relevant data in Hubei province and the usage of fuzzy analytic hierarchy process.Practical and feasible corresponding policy suggestions are given according to the resultsof the assessment.
