Nowadays, the service and the product of the domestic commercial banks are gettingextremely more similar and lacking in speciality. What’s more, they also face some problemslike business diversification, process complexation and low efficiency. Quantities of localbanks still rely on the traditional profit-earning way which get gains from the spread betweendeposit and loan. Own to this, they have disadvantages in the competition with foreign banks.Compared with the advanced multinational banks, the domestic banks should focus on thereengineering of the business process. Through this way, they can build up the systemcentered on customers. Directed by the enterprises’ development stratage, and based on theprocess, they can build up brand new administration process and back-up system. They canalso strengthen the practice of the information technology and remake the organizationstructure all around.Taking BC Bank-JiangSu branch for example, thesis will does some research thoroughlyto make a detailed guide and a empirical framework for the local banks’ remaking of thebusiness process comparing with foreign banks’ advanced process and taking ways of casesanalism, comparison analism and empirical study etc. on the basis of process reengineeringtheory and value chain theory to make detailed analysis on the carrying-out of the processreengineering and then to ananlize on the relative steps, measures, purpose and principles.Gathering the relative data and document, using the theory of business process reengineering,the theory do the research on BC Bank-JiangSu branch’s business process, customer service,and bankground supporting and comes to a conclusion that it should center on the customersand reform on the organization system relying on process centralization and up-to-dateinformation technology.The main idea of thesis is to raise the problem and the solution to the problem of BCBank. The bank should redesign the process in order to find out ways to solve the problems of low efficiency, lack in customers’ demand and so on. What’s more, it should put forwardproper remaking ensurance merthods to meet the customers’ different demands and toincrease their loyalty so as to overall promote BC Bank’s competity. The viewpoint the theoryraises need to be put into practice to make it official because it doesn’t be taken out in BCBank-JiangSu branch.
