Research On The Reasonable Development Scale Of The Taxi In Jinan City

With the continuous development of urban motorized, the number of cars isincreasing rapidly, but the pace of urban road facilities’ construction falls far behindof the increase in speed of the car, and the growing phenomenon of urban trafficcongestion. Give priority to the development of urban public transport is one of theeffective measures to solve the urban road congestion. Taxis are the most activemodes of transportation in the urban public passenger transport systems, attracts moreand more travelers of all ages.Taxi, after the development through a period of time in China, has suffered fromvarying degrees of oversupply. There is no uniform method to determine ownershipof city taxi, makes the measures taken to limit the development of the taxi currentlyhas certain blindness. Based on the current development of urban taxi, reasonablescale city taxi predictive models constructed is the content of this study.This article draws on some domestic and foreign related research of the taxi,summarized the current situation of the development of taxi industry in our country,and studied its status and role in urban passenger transport system. In combinationwith Juxian taxi industry development present situation, selected the rate of actualloading method and the method of supply and demand balance and forecast Juxian thetaxi reasonable scale, and carries on the comparison and analysis on the result, findthe rate of actual loading method can get more credible and higher predictionaccuracy. Finally, combined with the rate of actual loading in Jinan the taxireasonable scale to carry on the forecast, provide scientific decision basis for controlthe taxi reasonable scale for the city.
