In present LCD panel industry market, competition is getting more and morefierce. The golden rule of success depending on quality is widely recognized by LCDmanufacturing companies and has been transformed into their key competitivestrength. When manufacturing companies are facing such competition pressure, theyneed to raise the importance level of their quality control management status, and havea reasonable construction and distribution of quality structure at the very beginning ofestablishment.The thesis studied several kinds of data from a sub-division of A OptoelectronicsTechnology Co., Ltd, including raw material quality data, research and developmentquality data, process quality inspection data and ship out products quality control data,researched and analyzed its production and quality management methods, and foundthat its products could reach above quality standards and its quality controlmanagement was effective. Therefore, management groups of this company adoptedthe same processing mode of quality control system when establishing a new factory,yet they also optimized and improved the drawbacks of previous quality processingmode. For example, the process quality inspection group was changed fromproduction department into quality control department, which separates the inspectorand the inspected, avoiding inspection partiality.Firstly during the construction of quality control system, project managementtheory and methodology was applied, starting from project organization, projectobjective definition and objective WBS decomposition, to the applicationof precedence network diagram and Gantt chart to define logic between projects and tocalculate total duration of the project. Secondly, in order to ensure the successfuloperation of projects, the required manpower and overall expenses, such asequipments purchase expense and other expenses, were analyzed. Finally the risks ofprojects were identified and evaluated. The research result of this thesis can be a goodreference to the construction of quality management system for manufacturingcompanies.
