G company cooperated with the famous S company, to manufacture product for Scompany (TRX optical transceiver, OSA optical sub-assembly components, VOAVariable Optical Attenuate etc.). Because optical products manufacturing section containsartificial assembly operations in the outsourcing company, through visiting the factory ofS company and studying and make a similar line of S company. But found the line bodyconfiguration is not suitable for G company in the trial production,, in the large-scaleartificial operation line, the line balancing rate is low, waste more personnel work, staffnumber is so big and poor capacity, and so as to lead to higher costs.And will directlycause the resulting of lower profits and loss of their market competitiveness.Therefore, itis important to improve production line capacity. By using the method of research to rampup production line can be reduced personnel work efficiency, reduce waste, promotepersonnel working intensity, reduce resource waste, make the company more humanized,while increasing customer satisfaction, the company’s satisfaction, employee satisfaction.Based on a OSA products on assembly line layout, and personnel configuration, linebalancing analysis in OCC (Optical Communication Component) department of Gcompany, through methods research for production line capacity, can reduce the waste ofpersonnel work constantly, improve staff efficiency, reduce working intensity, reduceresource waste.Make companies more humanized, while increasing customer satisfaction,the company’s satisfaction, employee satisfaction, which occupies a place in the fiercemarket competition, really provide value-added services to our customers.The researchmethods of this article is mainly through the analysis of the action(MOD) and the PTS(Predetermined Time Standard) theory, theory of PR (Process Reengineering) to improveproduction line.Through DOE and four skills (ECRS) of industrial engineering processinnovation, increase the rate of line of body balance, improve production capacity,improve production efficiency.To further verified the optimized process, evaluation, so asto improve higher line body balance rate and improve the capacity and yield, put an end torework.
