Performance evaluation provides the basis for company measure to evaluate the staff performance as the core issue of human resources management, promoting the orderly operation, ensuring the enterprise internal management mechanism and realizing the management and target management activities. At present, the research on performance evaluation mainly focus on how to formulate a scientific and reasonable evaluation method, ensure efficient and effective appraisal system, and improve enterprise management level, improve enterprise value, to ensure the realization of the company long-term goals. In this paper, based on the summarizing the theories of performance evaluation, we make a elaboration on the theory and practice of 360 - degree performance evaluation method, and the application studied inWKXYZ Construction Group Co. Ltd.This paper first talk the role and means of performance evaluation, then introduces 360-degree performance evaluation method by comparing the shortcomings of traditional performance evaluation method, and expounds the definition, the theoretical basis, the scope of application and practical significance of it, Focuses on those matters which needing attention including 360-degree evaluation method in the process of the implementation process and the discreet choice of project director, the result feedback and interview, discussing the leaders need to take the initiative to manage, the reasonable use of performance evaluation results through HR department, to maximize access to management and employee recognition and support in the process of 360 degree appraisal work, at the same time,establish auxiliary performance evaluation system of feedback and other such key problems as supplement.Combining with the WKXYZ Construction Group Co. Ltd.,The paper discusses the construction of the 360-degree performance evaluation system on the basis of the company’s existing organizational structure. Detailed discusses how to correctly implement 360-degree performance evaluation method, including the rational allocation of resources, performance criteria and method of formulation and implementation, how to do the inspection before the training, how to comprehensively and accurately be assessed for information, how to conduct performance communication and performance feedback, how assessed and position matching and so on, finally set up perfect and can really serve the goal of enterprise performance evaluation system, and the application of comprehensive assessment results correctly in the allocation of talent, selection, training, salary adjustment, motivation, rewards and punishments during daily work, as the basis of the annual performance pay, to get the most out of staff enthusiasm and subjective initiative. At the same time, pointing out that the 360-degree performance evaluation methods applied in the modern enterprise performance evaluation to be studied in the place.Through the study of 360 performance evaluation method, it shows that 360 - degree performance evaluation enable employees to self evaluation and self improvement, help managers at all levels to better understand the work of subordinates, enhance communication between the different groups, which will help motivate employees work potential and promote enterprise goals and strategy for the future realization, thus forming a good employment mechanism. At the same time, points out that the costs of collection and processing data are high in 360-degree performance evaluation, the qualitative evaluation put a larger proportion while the quantitative performance evaluation put small, prone to favoritism behavior in evaluation process, evaluation of outcome indicators such as lack of consistent evaluation criteria. Also points out that when design the 360 performance evaluation system, there are enterprise culture and communication channels, ways of combining research to be studied in the place.Through the study of this paper, we can establish a comprehensive understanding of the 360 - degree performance evaluation, with 360 - degree performance evaluation method in the practical application in the enterprise as an example, shows that 360 - degree performance evaluation is a comprehensive appraisal method, can real comprehensive, objective and effectively for examination and assessment of the employees, As an assessment tool, and to promote the all kinds of communication between members, promote the staff own development and improve business performance, so as to enhance the competitiveness of enterprises 360 - degree performance evaluation and to help enterprises to improve the communication management, strengthening the construction of organizational culture, but the best suitable objects are the top managers who with low sensitivity to the compensation change, and pay more attention to the sense of achievement and satisfaction from work.
