Manufacturing Industry And Logistics Industry Coordinated Development Research In Pearl River Delta

After thirty years of reform and opening up the rapid development, the Pearl River Delta region although it has become an important manufacturing base, but its weak independent research capacity and low-value-added products, so the Pearl River Delta manufacturing transformation and upgrading imperative. Logistics industry belongs to the third industry in national economy, and plays a very important role in the transformation and upgrading of industry. Therefore, the coordinated development of manufacturing industry and logistics industry is an important part of the optimization and upgrading of China’s industries; also it plays a vital role on social and economic development and become a hot issue of common concern to the government and academia. Since 2007 the first national manufacturing and logistics industry linkage development conference held in Shanghai, the country has gradually held four conferences in order to promote linkage development of the two industries. Based on this, select the "Pearl River Delta manufacturing industry and logistics industry coordinated development" as a research topic, then analysis two industries development status, relationship and coordination development level through qualitative and quantitative analysis, at last propose strategies to promote the coordinated development of the two industries measures.This article from the connotation of the two industries coordinated development, mechanism, model test and the Pearl River Delta region industry linkage development these aspects, summarizes the domestic and foreign scholars about the coordinated development of manufacturing and logistics related research literature, then summed up the two industries coordinated development theoretical basis. Based on the analysis of manufacturing industry and logistics industry development and the two industries coordinated development in the Pearl River Delta, analysis the relationship between the two industries by stationary test, co-integration test and granger causality test, and thus learn physics the concept of "degree of coupling", construction of manufacturing industry and logistics industry coordinated development of the coupling coordination degree model, calculated the coordinated development level of the two industries in the Pearl River Delta, and finally puts forward the strategic measures to promote the development of two industries coordination in Pearl River Delta region.The results show that the Pearl River Delta manufacturing industry development is the granger reason of the logistics industry development, and driving the development of the logistics industry, but the logistics industry development is not the granger cause of manufacturing industry development, indicates that the development of logistics industry contribution to the development of manufacturing industry is low. The Pearl River Delta coupling coordination degree of manufacturing and logistics industry growing trend, and it does not appear relatively obvious fluctuation, but their developments has experienced a low level of coordination coupling stage, antagonistic stage and run-in phase, and ultimately achieve a high level of development.
