| Because industrial clusters cannot achieve the integration of resources across space and cannot satisfy the rich resources requirement of large and complex manufacturing projects, companies called for new manufacturing organization methods to acquire new resources; The increasingly powerful Internet was changing the way companies collaborated, but what kind of manufacturing organization could make full use of the power of Internet became a new problem. Under this background, networked-manufacturing projects appeared, spread rapidly and got promoted. At the same time, networked-manufacturing projects’ failure was not uncommon, leading to huge economic losses to enterprises, so how to improve the reliability of networked manufacturing became a real problem to companies.This thesis toke networked-manufacturing as the study subject, focused on the content of the improvement of reliability, and added the consideration of nodes’heterogeneity in the improvements of reliability. In order to find the inherent rules of networked-manufacturing projects’operation and development, the paper firstly analyzed operational characteristics and mechanisms of networked-manufacturing projects. Then, based on the conclusion of external factors impacting on enterprises, this thesis classified the node enterprises in network manufacturing and structured node enterprises’ heterogeneity. Finally, based on the analysis of networked manufacturing’s operational characteristics, took node enterprises’ heterogeneity into account and built a mathematical model of the improvement of networked-manufacturing project’s reliability. This research showed that:(1) as a new manufacturing organization, the characteristics which networked-manufacturing were different from that of traditional manufacturing organization methods, mainly included basing on Internet technology, rapid across space integration, high openness of establishment, collaborative process and high level responsiveness. (2) Networked-manufacturing projects showed the combination of the longitudinal fish bone structure and transverse network structure, the interaction between these two structures motivated networked-manufacturing projects to develop helically. (3) The advanced level of technological environment and characteristics of individual node enterprise were the main factors that affected the improvement of reliability, which composited the taxonomy to divide node enterprises into four categories. (4) Through the analysis to mathematical example, in order to enhance the overall efficiency of reliability improvement, the chief company could encourage node enterprises to make more efforts and collaborate with other companies by improving the design of income allocation. (5) To increase the bottleneck company’s reliability level, chief company should sent accredited technical advisor to reduce the probability of project delays which caused by technical problems.The innovation of this study was mainly in three aspects: firstly, the modeling of reliability improvement was based on the analysis of mechanisms how factors impact on networked-manufacturing; Secondly, combined the cost and reliability improvement, which was much more valuable than just considered reliability problem; Thirdly, the reliability improvement was different from node to node, rather than assuming that all nodes businesses were homogeneous. |
