In order to achieve their business goals and objectives all of the companies need to maintain sustainable development and compete with others. So what is the base of any business development and competition? The answer is the powerful human resource management system of the organization. For example, right strategy of human resource management, planning, implementation, etc. Especially the right selection of employees can constitute a strong human resource management system. Therefore when a company is hiring, they need to ensure that they hire the best and the right employees. To do so, they must highly focus on the human resource recruitment. If a company applies the best human resource recruitment methods, they can select the most suitable and right staff.In the late 1990s, Mongolia moved from communism to capitalism. At the same time privatization started in Mongolia and manufactures and service sectors developed rapidly. Especially, commercial banking services have constantly developed in the financial sector. For the last fifteen years, many foreign investors and companies have been investing in various sectors of Mongolia. The result was so positive that commercial banking service has expanded. Besides a service quality is required. So, Mongolian commercial banks need to pay more attention to their sustainable development and steady competitiveness. Therefore commercial banks in Mongolia are focusing their attention on the human resource management activities, such as human resources planning, recruitment and allocation of human resources, their training and development, performance management, compensation and benefits management and human resource management and labor relations, etc. The human resource planning and human resource recruitment are considered to be the most essential processes among others. That is why commercial banks in Mongolia are highly focused on these two processes.Khan Bank, one of the experienced and the largest commercial banks of Mongolia, has twenty-four years of history. The Bank operates throughout all of Mongolia, establishing its branches in every aimag capital, soum center. So, Khan bank is more prominent than other commercial banks of Mongolia in terms of its history, scope and capital. The country’s largest, number one commercial bank of Mongolia has the highest number of branches and sub-branches and customers among banking sectors of Mongolia. Since 2008, Khan Bank has been using Assessment center methods for recruiting staff to reduce job quitting rate and select the right, suitable staff.This research paper object is Khan commercial bank of Mongolia. Particularly, in this research paper we explored the recruiting process used by Khan commercial bank using Assessment center methods use. In this paper, firstly, determined the aim of the study significance as well as briefly introduced Khan commercial bank. Then summarized the Assessment center related research theory and research work. Next analyzed the current situation of human resource recruitment process in Khan commercial bank. Also we conducted interviews and questionnaires with those who were interviewed and tested by the Assessment center to get a job at Khan commercial bank as well as the interview panel. Based on interviews and survey results, this paper issued some recommendations. Finally, made the overall conclusion and outlook of this study.
