| In the twenty-first century, China began to implement the "Go Out Policy" to encourage and support the enterprises having comparative advantage to invest overseas and conduct transnational operation, actively participate in international economic and technological cooperation, explore the international market, and enhance international competitiveness, so as to open up a new space for China’s economic development and create conditions for realization of complementary advantages and common development of China and other countries based on their resource endowment and comparative advantage. China’s proposes “One Belt and One Road†strategy, which speeds up width and depth of enterprise’s investment and operation in foreign countries. As the level of opening up is further improved and mutually-beneficial cooperation on international energy and resource is continuously deepened, overseas power construction market shows a more broad development prospect. With the steady recovery of the global economy, the steady growth of market of power source construction and infrastructure construction in the developing countries of Asia, Africa and Latin America, gradual shrinking of thermal power construction market in China and overcapacity of construction, going out and implementing international operation is a strategic choice made by electric power engineering companies for the purpose of adapting to the development of economic globalization and electric power construction market environment change at home and abroad, which also promotes the output of China’s equipment, manufacturing, technology and standard.After summary, evaluation and analysis of documents, this paper determines research method and approach. Puts emphasis on definition of concepts of internationalization and internationalization strategy, and sets out transnational operation theory, strategic management and other basic theories. Later, it conducts comparative analysis of internationalization strategies between Chinese and overseas enterprises. Based on SWOT analysis, it develops internationalization strategic proposal for SEP Company and elucidates the sub-step of the strategy. Finally, the paper proposes supporting and assurance measures for implementation of strategic scheme such as management and organization, finance & information assurance as well as standardization management, etc. Innovations of this paper:(1) according to the results of comparative analysis, indicate the opportunities and approaches of internationalization strategy for the SEP Company based on SWOT analysis and practical situation of the SEP Company;(2) present particular proposals of internationalization strategy for the SEP Company, including international project priority, integrate diversification development, enterprise localization, transnational and multi-local coalition strategy, developing comparison advantage, etc,. and present supporting and assurance measures for implementation of the said proposals. |
