The equipment is the significant asset for the modern manufacturing industry and it supports corporate for producing. Lots of companies have already realized that equipment management, especially it in the mid-term of the producing, is the important factor in the production management system of enterprise. The level of the equipment management represents the level of the integrated management of the company for a certain extent. The external competition battlefield among the companies under market-oriented economy is the market but from the internal side, it is the corporate management. So the equipment management and the using of integrated efficiency of the equipment life cycle have a huge impact on the existence and development of the enterprise.There are numerous problems on the equipment management in the company T for many reasons and also a huge gap of equipment management between company T and the same kind of company on abroad. In the meanwhile, there is not a suitable model of equipment management for company T. So this essay researches how to enhance the level of equipment management of its middle and later period life based on the example of company T.After the deep analysis on the domestic and abroad equipment management theory and according to the current situation of equipment management of company T, the author provides the equipment management model, which based on the Tn PM thought, is to combine the Tn PM management theory and the real situation of company T. This model also provides a complete case for helping company T to implement the equipment management method.The chapter one describes the background, purpose and main content of this essay; in the meanwhile, it also introduces the advance equipment management methods all around the world. The chapter two describes the modern equipment management theory, especially for the Total Normalized Productive Maintenance(Tn PM). The chapter three introduces the current situation of company T and its basic equipment condition; in the meanwhile, it also describes the matching situation of product manufacturing process and equipment of company T. The chapter four analyses the current problems on equipment management of company T from different aspects, such as: management system, maintenance system, prevention system, scene management and performance evaluation and so on. Based on the problems discussed on chapter four, the chapter five provides the solutions based on the Tn PM theory for those different systems aspect, therefore, we can find a complete method for improving the equipment management of company T. At last chapter, it makes a conclusion for this essay and indicates the disadvantages of this case, at the same time; it also points the developmental direction for company T.
