The contradiction between the increasing energy consumption of modern society and continuously worsening energy storage in the world, has promoted the development of new energy industry, in the process, as a significant supporting technology, energy storage has drawn highly attention of the whole society and been boosted to develop very fast.Nowadays, new energy storage industry of China is still in the demonstration period, the market is now beginning to transfer from start-up stage to growth stage, to the enterprises who are specialized in energy storage equipment manufacturing, this fast-developing and thriving emerging industry has not only opportunities but also potential risk due to its uncertainty. The issue of “What kind of development strategy could help the enterprises efficiently utilize their strengths, eliminate or offset their weaknesses, make good use of the opportunities in the market, and skilly avoid the external threats so as to get the best position in the drastic market competition of the rapidly evolving market.” has become the common concern and focus question of energy storage equipment manufacturing industry.Based on plenty of research literatures, the paper has first laid out the background, target and meaning of the research, and then made a summary of the current status of the research on corporate strategy management from both home and abroad. After that, the paper has made clear definition for the core concept of energy storage that related to this research as good preparation for the case study in the next step. In the third chapter, the paper has used PEST, Michael Porter’s Five Forces Model, SWOT, as well as some other methodology of strategic management, with the combination of energy storage equipment manufacturer N’s practical corporate strategy case to make systematic analysis. And then the paper made good use of QSPM according to the first hand data collected through expert interview, while finally got the conclusion and brought forward suggestions for enterprise N’s development strategy in the new energy market of China in the future:Differentiation strategy as “one major with many other different capability” in technology, product, marketing, service, etc, could be the core strategy of enterprise N,while at the same time, servitization strategy that could continuously create value added service to the customers should also been taken into consideration, last but not least, scientific administration strategy based on the advanced management philosophy and methodology from abroad would be the fundamental guarantee for the planning and smoothly executing of all the strategies.
