Study On The Industrial Convergence Development Of Tea Industry And Tourism Industry In Xinyang City Of Henan Province

As the world’s major tea producing country, Chinese government have a great importance to the development of tea industry. Judging from the tea industry chain development, tea industry development trend extend from the first industry to the second and third industry is becoming obvious. The convergence development of tea industry and tourism industry have a great significance to stimulating tea consumption, boosting healthy development of tea market, increasing tea farmers’ income, promoting to build a new socialist countryside, and so on. Xinyang tea area is the representative region of the green tea in the north, as well as the second largest of the domestic tea-growing area. Although Xinyang City have a high popularity of the tea and possess rich tourism resources, the tea tourism industry developed slowly as a series problems of the fuzzy positioning, the lack of standard and the low level of industrialization.This thesis follows the basic thoughts of theoretical discussion, empirical analysis and strategic research. Based on the industrial convergence theory, the industry cluster theory, the agricultural multi-function theory as the theoretical basis, analyzed the basic resources, intrinsic motivation and economic effect of the convergence development of tea industry and tourism industry in Xinyang city, then, the thesis put forward the general idea of the development of the tea tourism industry combining experiences at home and abroad. The main content of the thesis is divided into four parts:The first part(chap.1&chap.2) is the research summary and theoretical basis. This part takes the agricultural industry integration as the background, for the purpose of the industrial upgrade of traditional tea, takes the tea tourism industry clustering development as the core, determines the research direction and intended purpose of the convergence development of the two industries.The second part(chap.3&chap.4) illustrated the basic conditions, motivation of the convergence development of the two industries, and further analyzed the current conditions of the tea tourism industry in the city. Then, this part using the multivariate linear regression analysis method to analyze the economic effect of the the convergence development and finally pointed out the existing problems.The third part(chap.5) analyzed and summarized the characteristics and experiences of the tea tourism industry from these famous tea producing areas in home and abroad, so as to provide reference for the general idea of next step.The fourth part(chap.6) on the basis of above analysis, this part established the overall idea and industrial layout of the industrial convergence, put forward some targeted suggestions. Finally,this part come to the conclusion and summarized the innovations and shortcomings, and made a prospect of the development of future tour of tea tourism industry in Xinyang City.
