Software is the core of many Automotive-parts products, but in the process ofsoftware development is a problem that cannot be ignored is the development efficiencyand development costs.With the rapid development of China’s automotive market, the traditional softwaredevelopment process cannot meet the needs of domestic customers， the currentsoftware development process is unable to fast respond to customer requirementschange.How to improve it to meet the needs of customer is the major trouble ofautomotive parts suppliers.With a lot of research on domestic and international software enterprise projectmanagement of the development process, through the development of the CapabilityMaturity Model help software companies improve quality of software product, Agilemethods for software companies to improve the efficiency of software development.And researches on automotive parts product development and management, focused onproduct development and project management, while relatively few studies ofautomotive parts software development management.This paper studies the combination of theory and practice of software developmentproject management to improve on the traditional model of software developmentprocess and use agile development methods to improve the responsiveness andefficiency of software development to meet domestic automotive customer needs.First, by conducting research on software project management theory and softwaredevelopment process management, including the ability of knowledge management,software development process maturity model and agile development methods. By theanalyze of BH company automotive parts software development process, the traditional software development process is low efficiency and cannot fast respond customerduring the software developing, unable to meet the current vehicle customers demands.Secondly, BH Company optimized its software project management, adjusting itssoftware development organization and resources re-allocation in software developmentprogress, setup the software platform, use the agile method for customer project team toimprove the software project management and software development processmanagement.Finally, by analyzing the effect of improving, the new strategy implemented canoptimized the resources problem of software development and improve thecollaboration of the project team, the new software development process can fastresponse to customer requirements change and improve the software developmentefficiency. Hope that through this research results can help other companies.
