| With the development of the economy and strengthening constraints of resources and environment, in the process of development, the contradictions and problems of the industry long-term accumulated in Gansu province have become increasingly prominent:the industrial structure is too single, the industrial chain is too short, the dependence on resource becomes more and more stronger, the innovation ability is too weak, the scale of the non-public economic sector is too small. These problems seriously restrict the economic development of Gansu province. In the background of the transformation of the mode of economic development and the adjustment of industrial structure, the issue-- how to choose the method and the direction of industrial structure adjustment, seize the key of the adjustment of industrial structure, break through the difficulty of adjustment of industrial structure, achieve industrial upgrading of Gansu Province--placed in front of Gansu Province needs to be solved urgently.This paper based on the analysis and summary of Gansu Province industrial structure, evaluated the efficiency of three industries in Gansu province using a measure of capital and labor marginal output. The results show that the marginal product of capital and labor has a larger difference in the three industries:the marginal output of capital is larger in the first industry, third industry, light industry and non-state-owned economic sector, but it is negative in the second industry, the state-owned economic sector and heavy industry. That suggest the use efficiency of capital is low in these industries. The marginal output of labor force is negative in the first industry, state-owned economic sector, heavy industrial sector. But it is positive in the third industry, light industry and non-state-owned economic sector, that suggest the use efficiency of labor is higher in these industries.According to the results of quantitative analysis, this paper further combs and summarizes the existing problems of industrial structure in Gansu Province, and in order to provide a useful reference for the adjustment of industrial structure in Gansu province, the directions, method, difficulties and key points of the adjustment of industrial structure in Gansu Province are discussed. |
