| Urbanization has been a research focus in recent years, China’s urbanization process has been accelerated, but it also created a lot of problems. There are two mainly important factors for Urbanization:population and land. In the process of rapid development of urbanization, the coordination of the two factors largely affected the healthy development of urbanization. In the actual development of China, population urbanization development is relatively slow, land urbanization is accelerating forward. They are uncoordinated and urbanization are also affected.This paper summarizes the deep meaning of urbanization, based on population urbanization and land urbanization. This paper measure the level of urbanization in Wuhan City from two different angles. Results of each index based on entropy weight, then calculate 1998-2012 index of population urbanization and land urbanization index of Wuhan, and estimate the degree of coordination and development, and research the coordinated development state both of them, and finally analyze the results of the evaluation. By the time series calculations found:since 1998 the city of Wuhan index of population urbanization and land urbanization index continued to rise, and from 2007 onwards, the exponential growth of population urbanization significantly faster; The development of the overall level of coordination has also been changed from 1998 extreme imbalance recession years of the development of the 2012 recession to moderate disorders. Although the population urbanization index has been above the land urbanization index, but over the past decade land urbanization rate was significantly higher than the rate of population urbanization, there is a space runaway for urbanization. By analyzing the development trend of related indicators found in Wuhan still exist some problems in the process of urbanization, and put forward relevant suggestions, in order to have a reference to the urbanization of other capital cities. |
