In the era of knowledge economy, as the core of information industry and the foundation of national economy informatization, software enterprises play an important supporting role in the sustainable development of China’s economy. The software enterprise is a typical knowledge-intensive enterprise. Knowledge is an important strategic resource for software enterprise to create value and win competitive advantage. Knowledge management which has gradually become a strategic management of the organization determines the continued promotion of organization’s core competitiveness. While knowledge sharing is a key step for knowledge management, which not only can make the individual knowledge sublimated into organizational knowledge, but also is the key to improve the core competence of the organization and promote sustainable development. In the environment of knowledge economy, implementing knowledge sharing according to the enterprise’s competition requirements and its own characteristics as well as mastering and using knowledge resources to a maximum are the key to improve the enterprise strain capability and innovation capability. Talent is the most abundant resources for software enterprises, and is also the endogenous force for knowledge creation and dissemination. While the employee’s performance evaluation and incentive mechanism of knowledge sharing is the most critical step for knowledge integration and management of software enterprises. Therefore, conducting the research on employee performance evaluation and incentive mechanism of software enterprises based on knowledge sharing has an important theoretical and practical significance. The paper firstly concisely reviews the research background, research significance and the overseas and domestic research status, and also makes a brief description on knowledge sharing, employee performance evaluation and incentive of software enterprises. The paper secondly states the knowledge sharing theory of software enterprises in detail, which includes the related theory of knowledge sharing, definition and characteristics analysis of software enterprises, the characteristics of software enterprise human resources, the development status and existing problems of software enterprises as well as the significance of knowledge sharing implementation. Thirdly, the original index system of the employee performance evaluation and incentive mechanism of software enterprises based on knowledge sharing are established by using the balanced score card. Taking the five software enterprises selected as the sample space, the rough set theory is used to reduce and distribute the weights of original index, and then the grey clustering analysis method is used to conduct scientific evaluation of staff performance based on statistical investigation data. Accordingly, the five software employees’ knowledge sharing performance can be sorted, and the main restricting factors which affect the knowledge sharing performance of each software enterprise are analyzed, in order to provide decision making reference for software enterprise managers. Finally, based on the research results above, an employee knowledge sharing incentive model of software enterprises based on principal-agent theory is established. Through the analysis on main decision-making characteristics of knowledge sharing, the enterprise coordination and supervision cost can be reduced effectively, meanwhile, the behavior of employees is explored to motivate the employee’s enthusiasm on knowledge sharing, and the employee knowledge sharing incentive mechanism for software enterprises is established from both the micro level and macro level.
