Procurement management is an important link in the supply chain management and the most valuable part of the cost management. It is called "the third profit source" of enterprises, playing a great significant part to improve the economic benefits. Garden industry is recognized as the "eternal sunrise industry". Its unique green and ecological concept has been more and more recognized, showing boarder market prospects. Judging from the engineering cost, engineering materials account for about 70% of the total cost of the project. Reducing the cost of materials is much higher than the potential of reducing labor cost and machine cost potential. Centralized procurement is a powerful guarantee for enterprises to reduce material procurement costs. Therefore, the optimization of project procurement management for the enterprise, which making the company bigger and stronger, is necessary and important.The essay is basing on the theory of supply chain management and business process reengineering, conducts the thorough research to the Guangzhou Greening Company engineering project procurement process. With the related theory research from three aspects as supplier management, purchasing organization, purchasing process, the essay is to find out four problems of the current state of the process: unreasonable purchasing organization and management structure, unreasonable procurement process, the shortage of supplier evaluation system management and imperfect procurement process.During the analysis the existing problems of purchasing organization and purchasing process of Guangzhou Greening Company, this essay learns from the development experience of the domestic large enterprises procurement management, puts forward the implementation of centralized procurement to solve the problem of the high cost of purchasing. Combining with the actual situation of Guangzhou Greening Company, this essay also refers some successful cases from some domestic and foreign well-known enterprises process reengineering, proposes a gradual process reengineering method to Guangzhou Greening Company, which are establishing process reengineering team, well-promoting corporate culture, in-time analysis of present problems, evaluation and improvement for the implementation.Regarding the supplier management, the essay uses graph method to create a model to classify Guangzhou Greening Company’s existing suppliers, and proposes different management approaches for different types of suppliers, stresses the importance of building strategic relationships with suppliers. By using the method of questionnaire, literature review, the essay puts forward the company’s supplier evaluation index weight, and uses the Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) to establish the supplier credit evaluation system.This essay summarizes the problems may be encountered in the implementation of process reengineering, evaluates the effect of process reengineering, puts forward improvement measures and finally concludes that:If the company want to be secede in process reengineering, it shall not completely follow the listing corporation owned enterprises method, but implement an in-depth research of its own enterprise first to find out the real problems, then step by step to create process reengineering scheme according to the actual state.
