In the current market, it requires enterprises to continuously innovate. Employees, as the major part of enterprises, their behavior have vital role in shaping the enterprise innovation culture. Whether in industrial or academic field, the leadership of managers plays a key role in enterprise culture, especially in shaping the behavior of employees. The impact of transformational leadership on employee innovative behavior has been widespread concern of scholars, but the research conclusions are not yet consistent. While the current study is only from the perspective of statistics to verify the relationship between them, but there are no in-depth analysis of process.This research attempts to start from the perspective of incentive to componential theory of creativity and intrinsic motivation theory as the foundation. It conducts the thorough research in the real situation of transformational leadership influences employee innovative behavior through psychological empowerment by using qualitative research methods.This study conductes case studies by using qualitative research methods. It uses purposive sampling method to determine Nanjing 14th Building Corporation for research sample. According to the theory of sampling principle and typical principles, it combines the results of the pre interview and uses the "snowball sampling method" It identified 8 cases, involving 3 departments,8 employees and 3 managers. It Sorted and coded the qualitative data obtained from in-depth interviews and informal interviews, by using triangulation chain of evidence to ensure the reliability and validity of interview data. Following the principle of replication, inductive single case research were done to each of the 3 departments and based on it, multi case analysis had been carried out.The main conclusions of this study are as follows:the mediating role of psychological empowerment exists in the relationship between transformational leadership and employee innovative behavior. The meaning of work plays a mediating role between the vision of incentive and employee innovative behavior. Work influence plays a mediating role between the visional incentives, personalized care and employee innovative behavior. Work ability, work influence and work meaning are there dimensions of how transformational leadership impact on employee innovative behavior.
