Research On The Problems Of Land-lost Peasants’ Citizenization From Perspective Of Social Capital

The emergence of land-lost peasants is a new group of people during process of urbanization. To solve the problem of land-lost peasants well directly related to the construction of Chinese urbanization, even to the country’s long-term stability.Due to the land-lost peasants lack of survival skills and with the low knowledge level, after losing the protection of farmland, it is really difficult for them to find good jobs in city, which resulting in living standards falling down, living in city but lack of self-identification. As a new group not to be ignored, how to satisfying their demands, how to realizing their interests and dream, how to finding their future under the background of urbanization and industrialization, are the problems which need to be solved at present time. In this paper, the author makes a depth analysis of the problems existing in the process of land-lost peasants’ citizenization.The essence of land-lost peasants citizenization was exploring the situation of land-lost peasants’way of life, the concept of life, self-identity during the process from agricultural population converted to urban population, and broking the traditional relationships based on the blood, kinship, trust, geopolitical ties, original rules, then gradually realize the identification transformation from traditional rural society peasants to the citizens in modern sense. The social capital transformation of land-lost peasants means the death and collapse of traditional rural life style, and the elapse of public life style associate with collective live, also means the disassemble of working in the nature’s rural daily life pattern with characteristics of clan, family, neighbor intimate contacted and harmonious coexistence. The land-lost peasants confronted with societal capital transformation from traditional to modern social capital with the characteristics of exoteric, legality and based on the working ship’s modern relationship.Te subject of this article was mainly about land-lost peasants, starting from the background and significance of the research, collected the research achievements of predecessors, the theory of urban immigrants and citizenization. The author make a brief introduction of problems existed in the process of landless peasants’citizenization in the perspective of social capital, then analysis the reason impeded landless peasants’ citizenization, finally support certain measure and proposal. Taking social capital theory as foundation deeply analysis social network, trust, institution, cooperation factors influence on landless peasants’social capital transformation., and then influence on the process of landless peasants’citizenization..The conclusion of this article was from three levels:government, land-lost peasants and community.The government should improve the macro-system type of social capital. Land-lost peasants should gradually complete relational social capital transformation from traditional to modern, extended their social circles. Community should strength their social management and public service functions, fully launch citizen participation., coordinate management with government, providing public goods and service,improving land-lost peasants social inclusion sense and social addictiveness...
