As the economy and consumption level unceasing enhancement, the number of the hotel industry is also rising, which makes the hotel industry competition is increasingly fierce. But, in the final analysis, competition among hotels is a competition between sales staff, so hotel should use its resources, gradually improve its sales staff incentive mechanism, to stabilize the hotel’s excellent sales staff how to stabilize and retain the hotel’s sales staff is each hotel will have to face the problem.As A Hotel the research object, based on Maslow’s hierarchy of needs theory, skinner’s reinforcement theory, Herzberg’s two-factor theory and equity theory of Adams, this paper expounds the concept and function of incentive and incentive. And by introducing A Hotel and its development situation, data and fact, of the sales department of A Hotel, the questionnaire survey to the current situation of the sales staff incentive research and analysis, found that the hotel’s problems with the current sales staff incentive, mainly include c&b system lacks flexibility, performance appraisal system is imperfect, training learning system is not scientific and incentive system is not sound, etc. Found the reasons for these problems are mainly A hotel managers and sales staff incentive idea lags behind, hotel excitation input to the sales staff is not enough, the hotel sales staff turnover rate is relatively high, and the hotel sales staff turnover rate is relatively higher. Comprehensive salary welfare system is proposed at the same time, improve the hotel’s performance appraisal and evaluation, set up perfect training system, help sales staff career planning, and to do a good job of evaluation incentive scheme five relevant countermeasures to optimize the incentive.
