Research On M Company’s BOD Project Logistics Management

The key of the development of enterprises is have core competitiveness. Different companies will choose different means to enhance market competitiveness in order to enhance the level of corporate profits. Some companies through investment in human resources and material resources to improve product quality, increase productivity to gain competitive advantage. Some companies will optimize internal operations management to gain a competitive advantage. Logistics is one of the three major business flow together with information flow and cash flow, and is the basic of the other two flow. If companies can establish one efficient logistics management system, it means enterprise information flow and cash flow will also have a solid foundation, the company’s overall operational management efficiencies and value have become targets can be expected.M company’s competitive market pressures increased year by year, in order to find a broader market, M began a transformation road, invested in the project BOD. In the beginning of the project, the project leader has fully recognized the important role of logistics management to the project development, so decided to design a operational logistic management solution which can be useful for project development.Following this opportunity, I read a lot of theory and academic research related to logistics management, based to the actual needs of the project, design a total solution. Based the sales, production and procurement business model, analyze and identify the specific needs of BOD project logistics management from the various business modules. After that, I determine the general design principles and objectives of BOD logistics management solutions. And then guided by the principle and objectives, designed the main framework and the two segments to be included in the program. As a detailed solution, it included processes management design and site layout management design. The ABC management design and material needs plan solution all be completed. After the logistics management solutions, in order to make this solutions reflect its operational, in Chapter 5, the implementation of the main points of the program implementation were specified.I hope this solution can be used in our BOD project which has "customization", "small batch", "multi-species" features. At the same time, hope it can contributes to the other same type companies.
