Multi-project Management Methods In The Application Of Vedio Analysis Technology Enterprises

In recent years, the threat around us has let the public demand for safety at an all-time high. The original security and protection system function has been unable to meet the requirements. People urgently need to truly realize the "real-time monitoring, real-time response" to reduce and even prevent dangerous events timely in the maximum extent. Under the background of the market demand, many enterprises have stepped into the field of video analysis. Meanwhile VAEs (Video analysis technology enterprises) also witness pressures from fierce market competition and survival of the fittest is particularly prominent in these enterprises. At present, for VAEs, how to improve the market competitiveness has become an important problem badly in need of solution. When a company’s capital, technology, personnel, information and other resources have encountered the bottleneck, the management will be the most important factor in improving efficiency.This thesis gives a brief analysis on cruel situation faced by domestic VAEs, pointing out that technology innovation and effective management are two important breakthroughs to solve the problem of survival and development in VAEs, and the rational use of multi-project management knowledge and methods is the most effective way to improve the management efficiency. However, some of the current multi-project management theories and methods are applicable to large companies and large projects, particularly in multi-project management which is an important theory involving in enterprise strategic decision-making and focusing on the economic efficiency of enterprise. However, there are few cases successfully implementing such theory in domestic VAEs.By investigating two important knowledge domains concerning multi-project management, program management and project portfolio management, the interrelationship of project, program and project portfolio is analyzed in the thesis; the commonly used methods in multi-project management, such as value analysis of the project, project selection and prioritization are discussed in detail, and with refining. and innovation and actual situation of VAEs, an operation mode of multi-project management suitable for VAEs is proposed finally. In this operation mode, the thesis presents a new multi-project prioritization method and innovatively applies the CCM(critical chain method) to multi-project management, so as to help VAEs to solve the problem of resource shortage. Eventually, based on the current situation of the projects in author’s company, the thesis discusses the problems and troubles in implementing multi-project management. What’s more, with the operation mode of multi-project management for VAEs proposed in this paper, the author tests and verifies the feasibility and practical value of the management mode through actual cases.
