Distribution Optimization Of Steel And Iron Enterprises In Wu’an

At present, our country is in a period of rapid urbanization, industrialization, and agricultural modernization development, it is inevitable in the process that the industrial structure will be adjustment and upgrading. Especially under the situation of tighter resource constraints, serious environment pollution, ecological degradation. As we know, Industrial structure adjustment will inevitably produce the problem about industrial land layout. Meanwhile, the steel industry is excess capacity in China. Wu’an, whose iron and steel industry is developed, was chosen to be the study area. And this article launched an in-depth research on spatial characteristics and influence factors of the 18 iron and steel enterprises, then evaluate the suitability of the iron and steel enterprise land. The specific research conclusions are as follows:(1) First of all, geographic association and index of concentration of iron and steel enterprises are 53.55 and 83.72. It means that the iron and steel enterprises are more concentrate. Secondly, through the analysis the circle-layer of the iron and steel enterprises, we find that with the increase of distance to downtown, the iron and steel enterprises generally presents the law of diminishing. In addition, the iron and steel enterprises have some problems in land use quantity, unreasonable land use within the enterprises.(2) Through the study of pertinent literature, also take the influence factors selection principle into consideration, this article choose mineral resources, traffic, river, residential areas and policy to be the factors influencing the layout of iron and steel enterprises. We use Arc GIS to analysis the relationship between the layout of these enterprises and factors. It is not hard to find that mineral resources and traffic conditions have a positive effect on the enterprises, meanwhile, there are 70.80% of enterprise land from the river is less than 1km, 46.92% from the city and town is less than 1.2km. So the waste water and gas will result in a negative effect to the river and residents.(3) Based on the iron and steel enterprise land suitable evaluation of Wu’an, this article proposed the optimization of the layout of iron and steel enterprises in Wu’an. Through the superimposing of the limiting factors, which have a significant influence on the layout of the iron and steel enterprises, this article divided Wu’an to four zones. The four zones respectively are: the most suitable zones for iron and steel enterprises, suitable zones for iron and steel enterprises, not appropriate zones for iron and steel enterprises, forbidden zones for iron and steel enterprises. Based on the four zones, this article proposed an optimization scheme, which is the enterprises in or surrounding the central city are removed to the industrial park in the suburbs, and the enterprises in the industrial park are recombined.
