In the initial stage of business administration, the purchasing management is described as lower skilled work, the main job of which is sourcing the competitive raw material to meet factory’s production. However, with the economic globalization and the advancement of technology, it is changed. The Competition in the market is no longer a competition between two enterprises, but the competition in the different supply chain. The role of purchasing has change from truncation to cooperation. How to do a good job supplier selection is the key to manage enterprise procurement operationsFirst, the theories of Supplier Chain, globalization purchasing, Strategic Supplier selection were used in the research of the Electronics Manufacturing Service(EMS)’s global sourcing strategies development and strategic supplier assessment and selection. The studies on a France company- A group were conducted by analyzing the characteristics of the EMS and its procurement, to develop the commodities strategy and global strategy supplier process: to evaluate commodity demand, supplier assessment & identification through 5 basic factors and strategy supplier selection.
