With the deepening of financial reform, banks with diverse sizes and property natures appear in large numbers, which causes the escalating competition in the market. The overall development of commercial banks is facing an unprecedented severe test. In the product homogeneity of the financial industry, the service has been given a new meaning. It not only becomes the major method of competition, but also becomes the key point for the bank to meet the challenge and win to survive and develop. The job satisfaction of bank employees determines the quality of their service to a large extent. Therefore, in order to have good performance and reputation, banks need to highly focus on employees’ satisfaction, building sense of community among the employees and implementing people-oriented management.In this paper, the object of study is the employees of A Bank Suzhou Branch. Questionnaire surveys and in-depth interviews are used for understanding employees’ job satisfaction, also professional statistical analysis software SPSS19.0 is used for systematic, multi-dimensional cross analysis of the results obtained by the surveys and interviews. After obtaining the relevant data and analysis results, and referring to a large number of relevant literature theory data, this paper put forward to the countermeasures and suggestions in improving the employees’ satisfaction degree and reducing employees’ turnover intention from four aspects which are personal satisfaction, personal development, working conditions, sense of belonging and harmony of working.
