| Combined various related industry development theories, such as Industry Life Cycle, Competitive Advantage, International Division of Labor and Value Chain, with the researches about Factors Influenced the development of Software Industry initiated by domestic and foreign scholars, this article abstracted four major kinds of influenced factors (technical structure, product service, market demand and control mechanism) and demonstrated a systematical analysis of its support force, driving force, pushing fore and pulling force in the Software Industry. Based on the major four factors, the author put forward the quadrilateral structure, which was a development pattern of software industry, and took it as a method to analysis and compare other development patterns at home (Beijing, Shanghai, Nanjing and Chengdu) and abroad (Silicon Valley, Bangalore and Tokyo) to determine the general competitive power of the current international software industry.With comprehensive and comparative analysis of Shenzhen software industry’s current performance and other representative cities’, this article pointed out the insufficient existed in the development patterns of Shenzhen software industry and addressed some improved suggestions to increase its competitive advantage. As a result, the development pattern—quadrilateral structure—based on technical structure, product service, market demand and control mechanism is scientific and feasible, which has practical significance for analyzing the development pattern of regional software industry. |
