The Mechanism And Empirical Study On The Positive Influence Of Infomation Industry To Industrial Structure Adjust And Upgrate

As a fusion-type concept,information industry is composed of info-equipment manufacturing industry and info-service industry, which based on information technology, and engaged in info-producing, info-processing, info-storing, info-circulating and info-servicing. Information Industry stretches across the secondary industry and tertiary industry. Therefore, economists also regard it as quaternary industry. Looking back the history of global economic growth, the industrial development catches up with the innovation of and development of information technology. The development of Information indust ry give the structure of economy a great push forward,especially the industrial structure,so it is an important access to industrial transformation and upgrading. As the one of the provinces famous for its Information industry,the scale of Information industry of Guangdong snowballed in the last two decades. At present, the global industrial structure is in the depth adjustment process, Guangdong is at a critical period of industrial transformation and upgrading, coupled with the Internet revolution into outbreak. In such background, study on the positive influence of Guangdong information industry to industrial structure adjust and upgrate, not only to clarify the the mechanism and effect of path, but also has a very strong practical significance to industrial structure upgrade of Guangdong under the wave of the Internet revolution. Based on the critical period of Industrial structure adjustment and upgrade in Guangdong, combine with the background of new era of the Internet revolution, this paper summarizes the development of industrial structure and information industry of Guangdong, having study the influence mechanism of the information industry to promote the upgrading of the industrial structure adjustment in Guangdong. In the empirical part, firstly, according to statistics of 20 years since 1994, using the grey correlation method to analysis the connection size between Guangdong information industry and the three industries; secondly, based on VAR(Vector Auto Regression) model and FIR(Finite Impulse Response) modle, regarding the proportion of the information industry as an explanatory variable and proportion of the second industry,proportion of the third industry, third industry employment proportion all as opposite-explanatory variables to measure the influencing degree of information industry to industrial structure adjustmen and upgrading.At last, through theoretical analysis a nd empirical conclusion, concluded that: from the analysis of grey correlation, the association between Guangdong Information Industry and the three industry is close-knit, in a concrete manner, it is with the greatest relevance between the third industry and the least between the primary industry. So, the strong association of information industry can effectively promote the upgrading of the industrial structure of Guangdong. From the quantitative analysis, there is a long-term stable relationship between the proportion of information industry and proportion of the second industry, proportion of the third industry, third industry employment proportion. Especially, the growth of the information industry has a greater role in the second industry, the third industry and its employment in a short term.Based on the above conclusions, Guangdong government should continue to promote the development of the information industry, using it to promote industrial structure adjustment and upgrade. At last, the author puts forward the policy recommendations from four aspects, that is the fusion between information industry and traditional industry, the development of new information services, the development of high-end electronic information industry and the building of information industrial innovation system.
