At present,in the background of our country accelerate the industrialization and urbanization, pastoral areas of Inner Mongolia is also a large-scale industrialization and urbanization. The pastoral fragile ecological environment, poor natural conditions, social economic basis, rapid urbanization,industrialization development cause a series of problems, contradictions in pastoral areas of man land relationship have become increasingly prominent, the worsening ecological environment,social and economic development is not harmonious. Pastoral areas is an important part of the construction of Western towns, but also to promote the part can not be ignored area and even the whole country in the process of urbanization. Therefore, based on the reasonable deconstruction in different periods of the driving forces of urbanization and mode, to alleviate the pastoral pastoral areas of man land relationship, promote the process of urbanization, is of great significance to accelerate the economic development of region.The author in the sorted out the basic research on driving forces of urbanization and the mode of the domestic and foreign reference, Shilin Gol League and its nine animal husbandry banner of local records and historical data, the qualitative analysis of Alxa League and county(banner)driving forces of urbanization in different periods, the results is that, whether in history or in the modern power system, influence is still Shilin Gol League and the animal husbandry banner development of urbanization is the main driving force; by the social economic data during1987~2012, the quantitative analysis of the driving force of entire alliance of urbanization development of economy and society, at the same time, the transverse comparative analysis of the main driving force of each animal husbandry banner of the same time, internal factors.
