Vietnam-China Trade Development

Since 1991 the restoration of normal relations between the two countries,bilateral trade continued to strengthen develop. In 1999, the two senior leaders signed the "joint reputation", that "good-neighborly friendship and comprehensive cooperation, long-term stability, future-oriented," the 16-character principle, as the dominant direction of bilateral relations in the 21 st century. Bilateral exchanges and cooperation in various fields cultural, educational, economic, technological, political and other continuous development of friendly relations between Vietnam more stable,continuous development and improvement of bilateral trade. In recent years, trading between China and Viet Nam is continually growing. China has become Vietnam’s largest import market.In this thesis, our contributions as follows:First, most researchers focused in frontier trade between two countries to analysis the trading relations. In this dissertation, we analyze the trade situation in aspect of the bilateral frontier trade.Second,based on the basis of previous researchs in the development of VietnamChina trade, we proposed new trends of economic growth in Viet Nam. We also pointed out many problems still existed in the course of trade development in Vietnam and China. By using SWOT model to analyze Vietnam-China trade relation, we show the weaknesses, advantages, threats and opportunities of trade for Viet Nam.Third, present academia Vietnam focused on the development of import and export fruit between Vietnam- China trade situations; however, most of the research is surface analysis.In this thesis, we take a depth in look about the relationship of developing the trade between Vietnam and China with qualitative analysis. Through the empirical analysis, we dig deeper into the relationship of development Vietnam – China economic.Through this thesis, we have pointed out the problems in trade development between two countries. Providing a number of approaches to reduce Vietnam’s trade deficit with China. We also made some suggestions for Vietnam to further promote the long-term trade development between the two countries.
