Research On Sustainable Livelihoods Of Landless-Farmers

In recent years, with the rapid development of urbanization in our country, the new urban district has been springing up, construction lands increase rapidly, quantities of peasants lost their farmland, and they found a group called Landless-peasants. The sustainable livelihoods of landless peasants has become a focus of this society, and also a inevitable problem in accelerating the process of urbanization.In this paper, we analyzed and described the sustainable livelihoods of landless-peasants from domestic and foreign, in the aspect of theories and concepts, with the methods of questionnaire survey, case analysis combining with qualitative and quantitative analysis.At the same time, we classified the result of questionaire survey from villager of Shouzhan vlliage in Changle City, with the age, gender, education backgroud and some other features, in order to research the specific practices in land requisition, compensation and resettlement of Changle City and Shouzhan town. We analyzed the living conditions and current problems and reasons of landless-peasants, combined with the successful experiences and ideas at domestic and foreign, and proposed:firstly, appropriately increase the compensation standard of land expropriation; improve the resettlement plan, secondly, increase employment policy support for the landless-peasant; lastly, improve the social security system for the landless-peasants.
