The rapid development of electronic commerce drives the high speed progress and challenge to our private express enterprises at the same time. In today’s information change economy era, the enterprise’s success or failure depends on the ability of information, data acquisition and application, whether the enterprise can effectively manage their information resources is very important. The key of private express companies to win is whether it can establish a perfect suitable information system or not. This article mainly from the perspective of performance evaluation, through J private express enterprise as an example, on the basis of enterprise information system performance evaluation, puts forward the improve and perfect advice, then gets a more reasonable and efficient information system, as a reference to other private express enterprises when do their information system construction.First, this paper elaborates the characteristics and current situation about our private express enterprises and their construction of information system, raises the performance evaluation index factors about information system based on the research of domestic and international information system performance evaluation. Using the enterprises questionnaire and SPSS statistical factor analysis to determine the information system performance evaluation index system, then applies this index system to J private express enterprise information system performance evaluation. It founds that the conjunction between the construction of enterprise information systems and business processes, external extension system compatible with performance, employee satisfaction and corporate reputation have the poor performance evaluation. Through the interview survey to verify the results of the performance evaluation, meanwhile finds that the ignorance of legacy problem in the prior construction of the enterprise system, the related activities about employees and the construction of enterprise culture in the construction of enterprise information lead to the results. Finally, puts forward some relevant improvement opinions depend on the papers and managers’views, provides the reference significance for J enterprise and the other private express enterprises.
