The Risk Management Research On Industrial Technology Innovation Alliance

Nowadays, the pace of global economic integration accelerates, the economic crisis continuesand the market competition becomes increasingly fierce. For companies and countries, if they wantto get a dominant position in the fierce competition, technical innovation has become an integralkey factor in the development path. At the same time, because of the considerable investment ofresources in technical innovation, individual enterprises, universities and research institutions havedifficulty in bearing the high risks which the technological innovation brings. On the other hand,they are also difficult to owe the high monopolistic returns exclusively. Industrial technologyinnovation alliance came into being with this situation. As the important carrier in technologyinnovation, industrial technology innovation alliance plays an active role in the development of thetransformation and upgrading and develops rapidly with the help of the government’s advocacy andsupport. However, the existence of "together but not united, joint but not strong" leads that uniondid not bring the expected gain during the operation. What’s worse, many industrial technologyinnovation alliances break up shortly after the formation. There are many reasons for the alliance’sfailure and risk mismanagement is an important one.In this paper, the identification and the management of the risk in industrial technologyinnovation alliance is the research object. Review the related theory about the industry technologyinnovation alliance and its risk, summarize the domestic and foreign relevant research dynamic andmake comments on relevant research results. Consider it more suitable for further study in thisarticle from the union internal and external risk analysis.Then, take the questionnaire of Jiangsu Province Soft Science Project Task Force (which I aminvolved in directly) as the analysis of sample, do the SPSS statistical analysis with the survey dataabout the alliance risk in questionnaire and summary the investigation of the interview. Demonstratethat many factors can affect the risk of industrial technology innovation alliance (mainly includingthe external factors like technology, market environment, policy environment and internal factorsuch as strategic goals, alliance, profit distribution, membership and so on).Finally, put forward some measures about the risk prevention and control based on thetheoretical research and empirical analysis. For the alliance, every member should reach consensus,clear alliance strategic objective and create a harmonious atmosphere of cooperation. Then form a reasonable benefit-sharing mechanism, improve the responsibility restraint mechanism and perfectthe collaborative management mechanism. As external alliance, mainly rely on the government. Thegovernment should play a role in policy guidance, improve government service platform, strengthengovernment support, standardize the government regulatory mechanism and so on. In this way, theinternal and external coordination risk prevention system and mechanism of alliance will be formedand industrial technology innovation alliance can will get a stable development environment anddevelop ordered, stably and efficiently.
