Under the circumstance of economic restructuring, lacking of knowledgeresource, makes it hard to process the entrepreneurial activities smoothly and obtainor maintain one company’s competitive advantage. Therefore, companies need tosupply much-needed business development knowledge resources in a dynamicenvironment quickly and efficiently, to achieve dynamic access to knowledgeresources. Entrepreneurial orientation as an important decisions at corporatestrategic level, there is no doubt that entrepreneurial orientation a key factoraffecting the enterprise access to knowledge resources, through taking risks prior tothe competitors and innovation breakthrough existing technology or product moreeffectively to adapt to the dynamic changes in the environment, identifying newopportunities through enterprise network relationships to develop new markets andmeet the needs of their own knowledge resources, be more targeted to obtain therequired knowledge resources.Based on that, this paper builds a conceptual model of entrepreneurialorientation, tie strength and knowledge resource acquisition and through largesample questionnaire survey, to study the influence of entrepreneurial orientation onthe acquisition of knowledge resources and how tie strength work between thismentioned relationship. The findings show that entrepreneurial orientation can bedeconstructed into two dimensions: innovation and pre-risk taking. And also findthat both innovative and pre-risk taking make a positive effect on knowledgeresource acquisition; Tie strength has a positive moderating effect on the relationshipbetween pre-risk taking and knowledge resource acquisition while the hypothesis oftie strength has a positive effect on the relationship between invitation andknowledge resource acquisition didn’t passes validation, which carrys out a reasonable explanationTherefore, this study maybe has instructive meanings for company to obtainknowledge resource. And companies should dare to innovate, have the courage totake risks prior to competitors to make knowledge resource acquisition successfully.In addition, this study defines the role of the different dimensions of entrepreneurialorientation to knowledge resources acquisition and broadens the existing record fieldof research and enriches the content.
