The Evaluation And Impact Factors Of Space Efficiency In Yangtze River Delta

Contact between the city and area is becoming more and more close.The flow oflabor,capital,technology,goods and information keep fast flowing,which promote thedevelopment of urban social-economy.Whether urban agglomerations with highefficiency or factor mobility is reasonable and efficient, they are have been importantparts of the regional economic competitiveness. The Yangtze River Delta city group isthe most dynamic and strongest area in china. But as the industry cluster and thedevelopment of population urbanization, the city group faces enormous pressures andchallenges of population, resources, environment, transport carrying capacity and otheraspects of urban construction layout. Therefore, based on the Yangtze River Delta, thepurpose of this paper is to solve problems. Based on the theory of sustainabledevelopment and factor mobility, Combined with the new economic geography, Spaceefficiency is determined by analyzing the theoretical studies based on analysis of spaceefficiency. In this connotation, by exploring the features and influential factors of spaceefficiency,we proposed some recommendations to improve the efficiency.First of all, This paper combines some related researches in recent years foundthat studies on the efficiency of urban population is relatively small, and short of acomprehensive evaluation of the space factor. By finishing the literature and combiningwith the new economic geography, this paper argues that the nature of the input-outputdecides the research on space efficiency of urban agglomeration necessarily involvesthat two aspects. Analysis of urban agglomerations on space efficiency, including theflow, gathering and integration of elements. Only when the proportion of input-output issmall, can resources play a great value.At the same time, this paper considers thatspace-efficiency should reflect the sustainability of regional development.Secondly, in order to fully understand the current situation and characteristics ofefficiency, this paper chooses four elements of production inputs and positive&negative economic outs to establish a space efficiency evaluation system on the basisof space efficiency connotation. Using DEA models measure the efficiency of theYangtze River Delta city group overall space of1992to2011, in order to explore theoverall characteristics of space efficiency.At the same time, by calculating2002,2006and2010’s space efficiency to clear the differentiation situation.The index of Moran I is used to evaluate the efficiency of an overflow condition.The study found that theefficiency of the Yangtze River Delta city group space was "W"-shaped fluctuations,but the overall efficiency of the apparent gap between the cities.There is a certaincorrelation between the city’s comprehensive efficiency and urban scale, administrativelevels, and geographical advantages, etc. The structure of urban agglomeration centersbelonging to distinct peripheral type. For the overflow, the paper argues that the level ofspace efficiency has little relevance at the time level, but showed strong positivecorrelation from the view of space levels.The paper also explain the reasons for thesefeatures combined with the realities.Thirdly, the four input indicators as the impact of space efficiency factors, Used todetermine its impact on the value space efficiency. In order to ensure the effectivenessof the return,establish the error correction model regression by performing smooth,co-integration and other testing. Finally get the following conclusions:In the longterm,the total amount of post and telecommunications services were positivelycorrelated with space efficiency values.In the short term, short-term fluctuations in theadjusted current efficiency of the sequence of adjusted profit not only by the impact ofinvestment, but also affected by fluctuations in input sequence after a periodadjustments.Whether long-term or short-term, the impact on the efficiency of thecurrent total amount of freight are significant.Finally, by analyzing the short board factors of space efficiency, we believe thatthe logistics flow capacity is a major factor restricting urban agglomeration efficiencyimprovement. According to the factors that impact the Yangtze River Delta city group’sspace efficiency, especially the short board factors, combined the reality of the YangtzeRiver Delta, draw some appropriate recommendations. For example, the Yangtze RiverDelta city group should build a modern logistics center to improve it’s logistics flowcapacity. Under the guidance of the sustainable development strategy,strengthen theoverall planning of resource utilization and environmental protection.
