Cloud computing business has gone through stages of cognitive concepts, it is moving to cloud services practice stage. At this point of time, during the booming of cloud computing, whether users or service provide, system integrators or equipment manufacturers, they are all thinking about what cloud computing bring them. They are thinking that how to turn this dramatic change to industry opportunities, and help the company win the next decade.Cisco is a global leader, who provide network solution and commit to improving people connect, communicate and collaborate. Cisco entered China in1994, During the past20years, Cisco continues to introduce the world’s most advanced technology, innovative ideas, best Internet operating experience and practice to China. Cisco has made important contributions to the China Internet industry. The ability of the Cisco and Cisco business partners to respond to market changes is essential for Cisco business. Therefore, to work with our channel partners and propose new solutions to respond this rapidly burgeoning cloud computing market is our key focus to build our new transformation partner ecosystem at this time.In this article, I will apply the basic theories I had learnt from my two years MBA study, to research the transformational strategy of Cisco collaboration business group. The article starts with the research background, including an introduction of Cisco system, Cisco collaboration product portfolio and Cisco channel certification program; the background also includes a brief introduction of cloud computing and its business model. Secondly, this paper use SWOT approach to analyzes the transformational strategy of Cisco collaboration business. Then, we introduce the solution transformation, channel program transformation, and GTM model transformation. At the end, the article take a study on how to protect the strategies successfully carry out.This study aims to give some reference that how Cisco collaboration technology group can be sustainable development from cloud computing business transformation; it will help Cisco and our business partner develop the ideas to adapt the changes. The innovative business model will also give Cisco and our business partners an opportunity to gain some competitive advantage in the new round of competition in cloud computing market.
