In this thesis, the Changqing Oilfield Machinery Manufacturing General Factory(hereinafter referred to as the Changqing Machinery Factory) performance managementsystem as the research object, through a series of theory and case, the existing problems in theperformance management of enterprise research, put forward some suggestions forimprovement of performance management, to improve enterprise management level,strengthen the competitiveness of the enterprise.This paper first through the understanding of the evolution history of performancemanagement and performance management objectives, establish the basic premise of thisresearch, the purpose and significance of the research topic, determine the research ideas andmethods, the main research contents and research framework. Based on above research on thedefinition of the concept of performance management, the main theories on performancemanagement, clear elements of the performance management and the influence factors, theperformance management status analysis of Changqing machinery works on this basis,identify the problems and shortcomings existing in the performance management process ofthe enterprise. Finally, through analyzing the present situation of enterprise performancemanagement analysis and research, using the target management method and KPI method byanalyzing the appropriate improvement, proposes performance management methods to adaptwith the Changqing machinery plant, to improve the existing performance appraisal systemand index.Performance management can improve the competitiveness of manufacturing enterprises,although the domestic many enterprises have recognized this problem, but in the concreteimplementation when there are a lot of misunderstanding, performance managementimplementation effect is not very ideal. The performance management of Changqingmachinery factory has not achieved the ideal effect, according to the specific circumstances, inChangqing machinery factory in the implementation of the existing problems in theperformance management as the breakthrough point, through analyzing the existingperformance management perfect, to make it more scientific and feasible, correctly guideemployee behavior effectively, to enhance the market competitiveness of enterprises, promotethe sustainable development of enterprises.
