Research To Promote The Economic Development Of The County’s Information Technology

Information technology is developing rapidly with lightning speed under thecircumstance of economic integration. The production and life of the whole world cannotexist without information technology, which has been changing people’s material andspiritual life profoundly and rapidly and brought human beings marvelous scenery.Meanwhile, information technology has changed the mode of economic growth and madegreat contribution to national economic development. And the information industry whichis based on information technology has also made remarkable effects and become theinevitable economic trend nowadays. County economy is the nucleus of the nationaleconomy and the cornerstone of enriching people’s life. Therefore, the development of thecounty economy is highly related to the ‘important engine’, i.e. information technology.This thesis explores the ways to promote the county’s economic development on thebasis of information technology. Firstly, it gives a brief introduction on the concept andprogress of information technology, makes a description of the essence of informatizationof county economy, and elaborates the dialectical relationship between informationtechnology and the county economy. Secondly, it analyzes the current situation ofinformation technology in three aspects: infrastructure, the utilization of informationresources and the environment of social information, and summarizes the existing problemsin terms of capital investment, resources integrations, information talent, and politicalsustenance and so on. And also, it discusses the causes of the problems to provide thetheoretical guidance on promoting the development of the county economy and carryingout the effective measures to better the development of the county economy with the handof information technology. Finally it studies the case of the informational development ofShucheng county economy with the guidance of top-level designing concept, and alsomakes a description of the informatization in Shucheng at present. The last part of the thesisaims at providing some specific and effective suggestions to help the informationalconstruction in Shucheng County reach a new level and offering some reasonable solutions.These proposals are based on the analysis of the contracture of the information technologyin the pilot counties and the requirement of the county economy on information technology.
