Nowadays flexible working has become an important way of working. This working way is beneficial for both the company and the employee, so many companies allow employees to take flexible working time. The main advantage of flexible working is to increase the work efficiency of employees and the company benefits. Moreover, it is helpful to achieve work-life balance because it could decrease the working pressure and improve the welfare of employees.After going through many related reference material, I introduces the related theories of flexible working in detail including concept, classification, precondition of implementation, advantages and disadvantages, flexible working and self-management, flexible working and human resource management, flexible working and organization performance. This study uses literature research method, interview method and questionnaire method. The main conclusion of this paper is as following:the majority of the employees and the leaders of M company support flexible working. They think flexible working would have positive influences, such as improving work performance, decreasing company expenses, improving job satisfaction and loyalty of employee and reduce employee turnover rate. Flexible working is applicable to M company.The author gives several suggestions to the company based on the findings of the study: Flexible working should be included into Human Resource System of the company to improve the work-life balance of the employees. The branches of the company should make flexible working system suitable to their local working condition, the optimized flexible working system should be made for different posts and positions of employees.
