Alliance performance Innovation alliance is the product of modern market economy, whose establishment makes a big contribution to technological research, expanding the size of the market, and reducing transaction costs for entrepreneurs. Although innovation alliance can bring great opportunities for entrepreneurs, the success rate of innovation alliance which is only about ten percent is very low according to relevant data statistics. Hence, it is necessary for us to do a deeper theoretical and practical research for better economic development. Whether innovation alliance as a whole can continue to grow persistently and create value for its members is concerned with its inherent characteristics and internal relationship between the team members to a great extent. Combining with the social network theory, the article whose starting point is innovation alliance’s inherent characteristics deeply studies and analyzes the operation mechanism of innovative coalition.This paper focuses on the organization characteristics of the innovation alliance’s influence on alliance performance and adjusting effect of the internal social capital between the team members on the innovation alliance performance. Through the deep understanding of the relational contract theory and social network theory, this article created a theory model of the impact of innovation alliance characteristics on alliance performance, with internal social capital of the organization as a moderator variable, and we obtained data samples of several cooperative innovation enterprises in the form of questionnaires. Then we tested the correctness of the model by using the SPSS data analysis and Lisrel structural equation model.The main research work and conclusions of this paper can be summarized as the following aspects:1、 This article studies the innovation enterprise alliance from the perspective of compact organization, pointing out three innovation alliance inherent characteristics:cultural differences, short-term interests, and management complexity. Firstly we theoretically analyze the impact of the three inherent characteristics on the whole alliance innovation performance. Then we verified that inherent organizational characteristics of innovation union will significantly impact alliance innovation performance by using the collected questionnaire.2、This paper applied the social network theory to the research on the organization of the innovation alliance, and divided social capital into internal and external social capital of innovation alliance. We defined internal social capital of organization innovation alliance, and found that the internal social capital of organization will play a regulative role between the inherent characteristics of innovation alliance organization and the innovation performance by reading the study, and the empirical validation is provided afterwards.The important conclusions of this paper have practical guiding significance in choosing members of innovation alliance, the determination of league goals and alliance management, and play an important role in improving the success rate of innovation alliance. However, due to the limitation of capabilities and resources, this article also has some defects, such as the summarization of the inherent characteristics of innovation alliance is not comprehensive, and the dimensions of social capital of innovation alliance organization are vague, which will further improved in future research.
