As the basic material of modern industry, Aluminum is the most recyclable material, and be widely used in all kinds of fields, such as aerospace, construction, electricity, transportation and so on. Since the reform and opening, the aluminum industry in China has been significantly improved in the aspects of industry scale, production technology, development capabilities and industry competitiveness, etc. At present, China has ranked the country global aluminum industry. At the same time, the aluminum industry spent a lot of energy and resources in production, the rapid development of aluminum industry brought a huge impact to our resources, energy and environment. Therefore, tapping the potential of energy saving in aluminum production in China has become the urgent problems to be solved.In this paper, the introduction part first clarifies the research background and significance, and briefly describes the research contents and methods. The first part describes the current situation of energy consumption of China’s aluminum production. Simply explains China’s energy consumption level, consumption structure and consumption situation of typical enterprises. The second part introduces the framework of energy flow analysis of aluminum industry in china. Based on the theoretical basis of energy flow, determines the boundaries of the system, establishes the analysis frame, and calculates the energy consumption, at last gives a comprehensive measure and study to the process of energy flow and energy flow index. The third part is the energy flow static analysis of China’s aluminum industry in2013. This part is the core part of this paper, through in-depth data collection, constructs the static picture of the actual energy flow in China. This paper calculates the energy consumption index, analyses the impact of the comprehensive energy consumption of unit product energy flow. The fourth part is based on the GM(1,1) analysis of the comprehensive energy consumption per ton aluminum. In the part, based on the model of qualitative analysis, the paper dynamic predicts2014-2023tons of aluminum comprehensive energy consumption in China, and finally draws the conclusion and the policy suggestion. Based on the research of the specific industry--aluminum production, this paper focuses on the analysis of flow in aluminum production, and tries hard to excavate the potential of energy saving in aluminum industry, to improve the energy efficiency in aluminum production in China, which can reflect the comprehensive energy consumption of tons of aluminum objective existence and development trend, and provides the reliable basis for the macro decision making of energy in our country.
