In terms of the development of information technology, the innovation of information technology leads progress of enterprise development. As the responsible role for company information, IT organization has become more important in an enterprise than usual. Especially in groups, an effective management of IT organization is a key factor to business success. The B Group is a huge manufacturing enterprise, but the current model of its IT organization management is not up to date so that it cannot promote company business and leads high cost and poor service quality during the daily support as well. In order to improve IT organization management to adept business development, B Group start to initiate reform of IT organization. What the article researches is the reform plan which can be implemented by IT organization B Group.The beginning of the research is the orientation of basic theory and knowledge. Therefore the first2chapters described the basic knowledge which is the basic for following researches. Not only it will be the preparation of researches, but also can clarify which conclusion based on what theory.Before the reform plan design, the understanding of B Group should be done in the first phase. In addition the function of IT organization and its current problem should be known well. Afterwards it should be analyzed that the problems can be solved by ITIL concept. To ensure the good result of IT organization reform and revolution, it must be proved that the reform plan can be applied in B Group. So the3rd chapter of the thesis is a research and analysis for problem solving and compatibility. According to ITIL concept, the service lifecycle oriented IT organization should be built. And then, all reform contents should be designed according to every stage of service lifecycle. Especially for Service Operation stage, the core phase for IT organization, the researches did more analysis for every reform method and process regarding the stage.The summary and conclusion were completed in the4th chapter of the thesis which outputted the IT organization reform plan. After an analysis of entire situation, the reform model was applied to B Group in5th chapter. In the application phase, the reform plan raised according to the characteristic of the IT organization. The customization on a part of reform plan was led by the real situation to ensure the result of reform is positive and effective. At last the success of that IT organization reform illustrated that the reform plan is effective.In the end, the reform plan which based on ITIL concept and verified by organization theory is suitable for B Group which runs professional strategy and have clear requirement of IT. After the reform which centralized IT organization and applied ITIL based processes, the IT cost went down and the IT service quality was improved so that the groups’ business even the revenue were promoted. The reform also leads the positive effects on groups’strategy implementation.
