| Industrialization process determines the status of the steel industry, and thedevelopment of the logistics industry has more and more influence on thesteel-circulation operations. With the development of the steel industry and steel tradeindustries, the operators of steel logistics are transferring from steel manufacturingcompanies to steel trading companies and steel logistics enterprises. Steel marketsthat are the primary form of the steel trading cannot satisfy the demand of the marketand trade-enterprises’ profits, therefore, modern steel logistics parks are developingrapidly.In the former layout-design of steel-market and original steel logistics park, thearchitects usually just based on their sensory experience and architectural designspecifications, so that the subjective layout design often cause many problems, suchas low-efficient logistics operating system, and extra costs and so on. In addition, thesteel products have very large volume, and are heavy solid solid with unique serialnumbers, that requires specific methods and techniques in terms of storage, handling,transportation, and information processing, etc. So the planning of steel logistics parklayout requires scientific method, making the logistics park more efficient andrunning at a low cost level.This paper is based on the system layout planning method (SLP method), andwill apply the SLP method to scientific planning and rational distribution of theNew-built Logistics Park of Anshan Ertaizi Steel Market. Besides the research of the current problems and future demands of the Ertaizi Steel Market,considering thesteel logistics park features, this paper also analyze the layout design of the new steellogistics park. Based on the investigations of the existing four steel markets inAnshan, and medium-sized enterprises’ managers, and the experts from AnshanMetallurgical Industry Research Institute, and some local governments, this paper usethe SLP method to analyze the layout design of the New-built Logistics Parkof Anshan Ertaizi Steel Market. |
