Along with the global economy development, steel demand is rising, prices of raw materials is rising, steel manufacturing Steel manufacturing industry, steel processing industry and steel trading industry etc enterprise are also facing opportunities and challenges, have good performance characteristics of steel logistics park is to reduce logistics cost an effective way. More and more enterprises has been constructing a steel logistics park which can effectively reduce steel logistics costs, increase constellation effect as a future development of an important task. The main research contents of this thesis are:(1) This paper analyzed the existing steel logistics present situation, dig deeply for the necessity of the development of steel logistics park, Studied steel logistics park of property completed or under construction, thoroughly analyzed the existing planning methods, formulated macro development planning strategy——the sustainable development strategy.(2) This paper summarized steps of demand forecast aimed at the characteristics of steel logistics park, determined content of demand forecast including Macro market environment, steel processing, steel storage and steel distribution, adopted two features of prediction method which is scene analysis and grey forecasting method on demand forecasting.(3) The total plane design phase of this paper summarized the method of functional layout and the size determination in the steel logistics park, divided the land type of functional layout, Analyzed the application process through the SLP method in functional layout of steel logistics park.(4) The optimal layout phase of this paper combined SLP method and genetic algorithm to build optimal layout model of steel logistics park. Designed the objective function with the goal to optimize the allocation of functional layout of steel logistics park. Described effectively the constraint condition such as the limit of total plane area and road channel problems. According to genetic algorithm process design fitness function, encoding and decoding method, genetic algorithm operator, and related parameters.(5) Data entry platform is made by VC development tools in Windows system platform to collect data in Customize User Interface and entry database, Optimized by genetic algorithm toolbox to acquire operation results in MATLAB7.0 environment.(6) This paper established development construction steps of steel logistics park and clear the characteristics of the main developmental terms. Based on ideas of operation management constructed respectively system dynamic model of time,profit and quality.
