Courtyard economy, as high-intensive business activities that set planting, breeding and processing in one certain, can not only increase the per unit area agricultural output, increase farmers’income, and solve the problem of environmental degradation to some extent. Xinhua County, located in the middle of Hunan Province, as a typical densely populous county, has achieved some success in the running courtyard economy. And the courtyard income has become an important part of household income.The paper study on rural courtyard economy and agricultural science and technology service in Xinhua, use the way of literature, field research and survey research. Firstly, the paper study analysis the relationship between economic development and rural courtyard and agricultural science and technology services through finding the relevant literature. Secondly, Xinhua County in the courtyard on the development of agricultural science and technology service demand characteristics and its influencing factors are analyzed to understand the situation of agricultural technology service needs courtyard Xinhua County economic development. Thirdly, the supply situation of agricultural science and technology services in Xinhua County economic development of rural courtyard are elaborated.
