Agricultural Science And Technology Talent Training Mechanism Research

The5th Plenary Session of the16th Central Committee, based on overall building well-off society and accelerating socialist modernization, proposed five significant historical tasks of new socialist country, namely, Production development, well-off life, rural civilization, clean and tidy village, democratic management. The achievement of transformation from traditional agriculture to modern agriculture must depend on science and technology. While prerequisite of agricultural prosperity is to cultivate rural scientific and technological talents. To ensure its system efficiently and orderly operation plays a crucial part in the continuous cultivation talents available for the development of modern agriculture. It possesses great practical significance to propose workable suggestions for how to build and perfect the agricultural scientific and technological talents’training system, studied form its three factors:motive mechanism, operation mechanism and security mechanism. The article summarizes main research results both at home and abroad, and chief features of the agricultural scientific and technological talents’training system. Combined with China’s current agricultural situation, thoroughly referring to relevant theories of human capital, the article finally presents some proposals respecting how to build and perfect agricultural scientific and technological talents’training system suitable for our national conditions, through utilizing kinds of study methods, like SWOT—strength, weakness, opportunity and threat—to summarize and analyze agricultural scientific and technological talents’training system.
